History
In September 2018, DELTA GEM purchased a 250.40 carat piece of star sapphire from an Afghan jeweler, which was very unique in shape and weight. After performing specialized gemological analysis, it was determined that this unique stone belongs to the purple sapphire category and is of the star type which was polished by UK Delta Gem gemologist as a result of which its weight was reduced to 239.35 carats. The geometric shape of the star on this gem is very beautiful, precise and regular.
